Safety First

Using the Aquaskipper is a great way to add fun and excercise to your life style. As with any excercise programme, please consault a doctor before you use the Aquaskipper, especially if you have any pre-existing health problems or concerns.

1. Always wear a lifejacket.

2. Always wear water shoes.

3. Do not use the Aquaskipper if you cannot swim.

4. Never take the Aquaskipper out further than you can swim back.

5. Watch for strong currents or waves that may take you out further than you expected.

6. Always go with another person who can help if neccessary.

7. Do not ride close to other objects in the water.(ie boats or people)

8. Do not tow the aquaskipper with a boat or other water craft.

9. Drugs and alcohol must not be used when operating the Aquaskipper

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE:

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE THE AQUASKIPPER ON ANY BODY OF WATER FOR WHICH YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION. TIDAL AREAS LIKE THE RIVER THAMES CAN BE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND THE PERMISSION OF THE GOVERNING AUTHORITY MUST BE SOUGHT BEFORE ANY ACTIVITY IS UNDERTAKEN .

Before you use Aquaskipper remember to:

1. Check to be sure that the Aquaskipper is properly assembled.

2. Check to be sure the spring is set for the right wieght of person using the Aquaskipper.

3. Check the depth of water. The Aquaskipper must be launched from a dock or boat in at least 6.5 feet (2 meters) of water.

4. Check to see if there are any parts damaged or missing, including the plastic parts.

5. Check the water for such things as underwater plants, rocks and litter, etc. If the large hydrofoil gets caught on anything the aquaskipper may not stay afloat.

The Aquaskipper may be started from a dock or boat. The water should be calm, although smooth waves can also be present. Be prepared to fall in the water the first few times you try using the Aquaskipper!

The Aquaskipper will itself float. At any time you are in the water and tired, you can rest by holding onto the vertical frame.
