2007 WHITE AIR FESTIVAL August 27th-Sep 2nd!...WhiteAir in its 11th year will be hosting 14 top level events.
Aquaskipper UK will be holding its very first UK gathering
at the event, offering the pioneers of the sport in this country the
chance to race and win he accolade of speed and distance holders in the
UK.
The week long event is excellent fun and a major stage for a number
of extreme sports. Organiser Nigel Howell says " We are very excited
about this years event as it is the biggest yet we are holding The
World Windsurfing Racing Championships for 2007.
This Grand Prix Racing event event will see some 100 racers from 40
countries and will be one of just 3 World Wide events that determines
the World Champion 2007"
World TV will be centering on the Island for the event which will
also have many other sports including European Skate vert, bmx,
kitesurfing, Mtn Bike, European Mountain Board Freestyle, Surf, World
Frisbee, Graffiti Jams, Live Music stage and loads more!
Aquaskipper Challenge
A challenge has been made by Aquaskipper UK for all comers to enter our speed trials and record distance attempts, the winners will receive recognition and a listing on the UK official website as 2007 UK record holders.
Aquaskipper lessons and "Have a go" sessions.
In addition people are already signing up for the "Have a Go" session that we will be holding everyday with our expert Dave Cornthwaite. Dave will also be holding inspirational talks and a slide shows following his recent skateboarding expedition and world record journey 4,500 miles across Australia this should not be missed by any potential world record holders.
Celebrity Challenge
On the 28th August Trigress Production are filming a top British celebrity attempting to ride the Aquaskipper for the BBC programme called "The One Show" This will all be filmed at the festival and we will be looking for someone to race against this celebrity who has a similar experience (One days training) The celebrities details are being kept under wraps because he doesn't know yet and will be told of the challenge on the day!

Count down to Whiteair. The biggest extreme sports festival in the UK is now in its 7th year and what an amazing year it promises to be. The event is over a whole week and will have some of the best in the world attending to show what they are capable of at their various sports. World champion Windsurfers and skateboarders will rub shoulders with hobbyists and enthusiasts.
